Contact: Union No. 2 North union of Birbhal is associated with Barisal and Chadpur districts on the west-west frontier of Greater Noakhali district as well as presently in Laxmipur district. Prior to this union, there was a consolidation of bigger chars and large chars, which became known as the Char Bansi Union Board Office in 1928.
Later in 1938 another union was established in the name of Char Ababul Union Board Office. In 1997, two new unions, representing the Char Bansi and Char Ababil Union, expressed self-interest. The names of 4 union parishads, including two of the previous two and the current two, are Chars Ababul Union, No. 2 North Char Bansi Union, 8th South Char Bangshi Union, 9th South Char Ababil Union
